Frequently asked questions
Will the height range suit me?
The working-height range betweeen 65cm and 130cm meets the majority of needs, and allows most users to achieve a good working posture both sitting*, perching, or standing.
*It is possible that may still need to use a footrest depending on your anthropometric measurements, and the minimum height of your chair. Feel free to contact us on 01629 814656 if you would like to check with us.
What does the memory function do?
The 4 x programmable memory settings make it easy to transition from your favourite working heights quickly and without fuss, and also make this suitable for more than one user - For example, setting a user specific sitting height and standing height for you and a colleague or family member.
But don't forget to vary these occasionally, as you will always benefit from a change!
Can I use my existing top?
Yes. As with all our frames, the Deskrise Echo can also be purchased as a frame only option and utilised with your existing desktop, to ensure you retain your current decor, or if you have found an alternative desktop you like elsewhere.
The frame also suits a wide variety of top sizes, so don't worry if you ever want to change your top! It is a relatively inexpensive way to change the whole feel of your office space without the need for a full replacement desk.
Is it easy to assemble?
Yes. Clear instructions are included in the box and construction usually takes about 30-45 minutes.
Self tapping screws are required in the assembly process and are included within the packaging. They are required when placing the control panel and transformer onto the desktop to give the customer the option of where to install them, should they want the controls to be left or right handed, and placed further in, or away from the edge of the desk.
The desktop itself does not need to be attached via self tapping screws and can be attached to the frame using pre-drilled holes and bolts on the desk top.
All screws and bolts are included, along with all tools apart from a screwdriver! We do recomend an electric/power screwdriver to attach the control panel.
However, we also offer a professional installation service with our own team of installers who have many years of experience.
What is the return policy?
Our goal is for every customer to be totally satisfied with their purchase. If this isn't the case, let us know and we'll do our best to work with you to make it right.
Sale or Return Policy
If goods have been supplied on sale or return and you wish to return them within the 14-day trial period, you must first phone the office to obtain a Returns Note and Number. Goods must then be returned in their original packaging with the original Delivery Note and Returns Note enclosed. We do not refund the outward carriage charge nor do we pay for the cost of return.
Can I cancel an order online?
In some circumstances we may be able to cancel your order, so please call us - 01629 814656. However, if you've received email confirmation that your order has already been despatched or delivered, then you’ll need to follow our returns procedure in the event of any unwanted products. You can also of course return them to our showroom in Bakewell.

What are my cancellation rights under Consumer Contract Regulations?
Under the Consumer Contract Regulations 2013 (which have replaced Distance Selling Regulations), if you buy online or by phone, you're entitled to cancel your contract with us and obtain a full refund if you request one no longer than 14 days after you receive the goods or services.
Please note that your right to return products does not apply to goods made to your specification, that have been clearly personalised or which by reason of their nature cannot be returned or are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly.
If you wish to exercise your right of cancellation, you are obliged to retain possession of the goods and take reasonable care of them. To exercise the right to cancel, you must inform us of your decision to cancel your contract by a clear statement including details of your name, geographical address, details of the order you wish to cancel and, where available, your phone number and email address.
